Rinn Kazza

Before he became a legend among outlaws and resistance fighters, Rinn Kazza was known within the Terran Orbital Navy as one of the most gifted and dangerous pilots in the fleet. Born on the ocean-covered world of Caelus V, he was raised in a gravity-heavy atmospheric dome city where flying anything required grit, instinct, and raw nerve. Tacko took to the skies early, piloting storm runners through electric cyclones and braving skimmer races through typhoon-wracked trenches.

Enlisting in the Navy at age seventeen, he quickly earned a reputation as a daredevil with unmatched reflexes and a tendency to rewrite mission parameters mid-flight. He was fearless, fast, and maddeningly unpredictable. Commanders called him “the comet with no orbit.” He disobeyed at least a dozen direct orders but he always brought his squad home, even when the odds were impossibly stacked against them.

The Siege of Flaynar Station

Assigned to a containment perimeter, Rinn instead blitzed through Dominion lines to extract a civilian convoy trapped behind enemy fire. He saved 3,000 lives and cost the Navy a prototype destroyer. Court-martialled and discharged, he was labelled “unfit for structured command” and banished from military service.

The Rogue Goes Solo

Rinn didn’t mourn the loss. He was addicted to motion, to the sound of ion drives screaming at the edge of meltdown, to the thrill of dancing on the knife’s edge of gravity wells. He became a freelance courier, then a rogue pilot for hire flying contraband across quarantined zones and navigating asteroid belts blindfolded for bets. He pushed every ship beyond its limits and treated near-death as part of the rush.

It was during one such illegal run smuggling void-silk through the Draco Expanse that Tacko met Drake Vance. Caught in a pincer trap set by Dominion enforcers, the two pilots found themselves on a collision course literally. Rather than back off, they each tried to bluff the other, unleashing a mid-space shootout that left their pursuers crippled and the two of them side-by-side in the wreckage.

The Madness

The next several months blurred into legend: high-risk raids, impossible escapes, entire prison moons turned upside down, and one especially memorable stunt involving a stolen dominion frigate and a disguised asteroid cannon. Somewhere in the chaos, the two bonded not just through survival, but through shared madness, mutual respect, and a taste for rebellion.

When Jack Vance founded the Zone Warriors, Rinn didn’t even need to be asked. He was already there, welding the engine housing closed with a grin and a flask in his hand.

Custom-Built Fighter

The G4, brought raw speed, pinpoint control, and reckless daring to the team. He refused command. He didn’t need a rank. He was the wingman who never blinked, the streak of light across enemy radars, the voice laughing through comms as he turned a dive into a death-defying victory. Rinn Kazza the velocity addict, the exile, the myth found his place not in order, but in rebellion. And he’s still burning thrusters faster than anyone else in the star lanes.
