I am the 'VIXI' (Virtual Intergalactic eXperimental Interface) AI Protocol for the Deep Galactic Vessel named 'The Mongoose'. The ships commander Jack Vance nicknamed me 'Star Monkey' because he says, that back in the day on his home planet they would "put a monkey into a rocket ship & send it to the stars", to monitor the success of their first space explorations. So Jack reckoned that as I was the first of the (VIXI) AI protocols to be put into a 'Rocket' Ship & sent to the stars that this nickname kind of makes sense & that
